A fishing vessel with three people today onboard has been missing off the North Wales coastline due to the fact yesterday morning.

HM Coastguard has been co-ordinating an considerable research to obtain the vessel because it failed to return when it was predicted.  Rhyl, Bangor and Llandudno Coastguard Rescue groups have been despatched along with RNLI lifeboats from Rhyl, Llandudno, Conwy and Beaumaris.

The HM Coastguard search and rescue helicopter from Caernarfon and a mounted-wing Coastguard plane have also been helping with the lookup.

In addition, North Wales Police are concerned and broadcasts have been produced to alert vessels in the close by place, but in spite of the comprehensive search to discover the vessel and its crew, almost nothing has been observed so significantly.

Duty Controller for HM Coastguard Rob Priestley says: “We are continuing to search a wide region to try and locate this vessel with all the assets we have at our disposal. We’re also asking other vessels in the place to retain a look out for anything at all that may well also support the look for.”
